Defragment Your Hard Drive
If your computer is sluggish, defragment your hard drive in Vista for greater computer efficiency and response time.
- Click on the "Start Menu" (bottom left on the toolbar)
- Click on "Computer" (mid-right in the "Start" menu). This will bring up a new window with your drives listed in the right-hand side of the window pane.
- Right-click on "C" drive or any drive you wish to defragment and clilck on "Properties".
- Click on "Tools" (second tab)
- Click on "Defragment Now" (second option midway down).
- A new box pops up and here you cllick on "Defragment Now" again.
